Let's start this off right...

I was very stylish as a child (see below). Maybe my fashion sense is what led me to the Boystown area of Chicago. Whatever the case, I'm here now and I'm living in a place full of culture. All I can think to do is criticize it. I mean comment on it. So I'm starting a blog. I'm blogging. I'm a blogger (bloggist? bloggee?)

So let me be clear about my expectations for this blog. Here goes:

1. I will post about food/drink/shopping in the Boystown and Lakeview area. You will read it and go to the places I love. You will be hesitant about the places I dislike. Or just do whatever you want.

2. I will be shockingly honest (only way I know how to be) and THAT'S OK.

3. This blog will make me famous and I will never have to have a real job again. I will eventually get paid to go to restaurants and bars. Is this too much to ask? no.

5. I'm just doing this shit for fun. Read it if you want. Go wherever you want. It's your life for god sakes.
